SALE and SUPPLY of ALCOHOL ACT 2012

Prophet’s Rock Wines Limited is a New Zealand owned licensee as defined in the New Zealand Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and is legally authorised to promote, sell and deliver wine via online or mail-order. A full copy of our Liquor Licence is available here. It is illegal for us to sell liquor to anyone under the age of 18. It is illegal to buy liquor when under the age of 18. It is also illegal to make a false declaration of age in order to purchase liquor. If you are under the age of 18, please do not attempt to use this site to purchase liquor.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By searching on the Website and purchasing products over the Website you accept, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Prophet’s Rock Wines may amend these terms and conditions at any time by posting amended or replacement terms and conditions on the Website.

Delivery Charges

Delivery costs within New Zealand are covered by Prophet’s Rock Wines for all orders of 12 bottles or more. For orders of less than 12 bottles individual shipping charges will apply dependant upon the shipping destination & volume ordered. These costs will be calculated upon checkout of your purchase.

Delivery Policy

Website orders delivered within New Zealand, will normally be dispatched within two working days of payment being received. Delivery is via courier and may take up to five working days to arrive. Prophet’s Rock Wines cannot guarantee the precise date and time of delivery. Signature on delivery is required unless special delivery instructions are given at the time the order is placed.

Returns & Refunds

Please check your wines upon arrival to ensure they have reached you in good condition prior to signing acceptance of the delivery. All claims for non-delivery, short delivery or damage should be made as soon as possible by email to [email protected]. Every effort is made to ensure the wine you order from Prophet’s Rock Wines reaches you in top condition. Prophet’s Rock Wines does not accept responsibility for damage caused by inappropriate handling or storage of the product by the customer. If you are not happy with the product, please contact us by email before returning any goods. Any wine you return must be packaged carefully to avoid damage in transit. Faulty product will be replaced, if possible. If replacement is not possible we will refund the item in the same form that payment was made.

We aim to provide as accurate a description of our wines as possible, but your personal perception may vary from our description.

Availability of Product

The website will show the full range of our current vintages; however the customer acknowledges that there may be limited availability. Prophet’s Rock Wines reserves the right to restrict the number of bottles of a particular wine to each individual customer when quantities are limited.

Wine Club Cancellation Policy

Any person who joins the Prophet’s Rock Wines Club is entering an agreed quarterly annual shipment in accordance with legal legislation outlined in their terms and conditions. The Prophet’s Rock Wine Club is an automatic shipment which will continue until the person in question has asked to cancel their membership. Payment Policy

Prophet’s Rock Wines Ltd accepts all payments via internet banking, cheque and selected credit cards. American Express, Diners or Farmlands cards are not accepted. All prices are in New Zealand dollars, inclusive of GST at 15%. Every purchase is subject to the laws of New Zealand.

PAYMENT SECURITY

Prophet’s Rock does not retain any credit card information provided by our customers. All payments are completed securely through our bank and payment provider. Our payment providers are committed to data security and use a variety of technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorised access.
