There is nothing exotic, “artificial” or “made up” about the expression of this wine. That shows again the link between what is emanating from the land, the feeling you have from it and the expression of the wines.”
The Prophet’s Rock Dry Riesling comes from our Rocky Point vineyard, where we have a tiny one-hectare parcel growing on schist rock soil. Riesling holds a special place in our hearts and gets a lot of attention in the vineyard and winery. Wild yeast ferment in old oak barrels & cellared before release. Complex, floral & citrus aromas with great freshness, spice & underlying minerality.
This carefully cellared reserve wine is only released a minimum of five years after harvest. It comes from a tiny parcel in our Home Vineyard, grown and made to showcase our unique site with the benefit of time. Stored perfectly until release, this wine is open and engaging but will certainly reward patience collectors with further cellaring.
