Rocky Point

Rocky Point is the second label of Prophet’s Rock and aims to deliver consistently excellent examples of Central Otago Pinot Noir.

From the 2008 vintage Rocky Point has been produced exclusively from our own vineyards. In the winery the fruit is handled with the same care, respect and methods used for our top Prophet’s Rock wines.

The Rocky Point wines are typically very expressive, perfumed and supple wines that drink very well in their youth. For those with patience the wines will continue to improve with peak drinking 3-5 years from vintage.

The Rocky Point wines have consistently won awards and favourable reviews since the first release from the 2003 vintage including a Gold Medal at the Royal Easter Show for the 2004 vintage.
